Interests: Walking, Hiking, Biking, Wine, Travel, Photography, History, Reading.
Cheryl and I have been walking and hiking throughout our married life. We have hiked The Chilkoot Trail in Alaska, The West Coast Trail on the west coast of Vancouver Island, and Sections of the Great Divide Trail in the Rocky Mountains.
In the year 2000 we discovered Europe and the joys and the wonder of walking village to village, reveling in the culture and history that Europe had to offer…and the wine wasn’t too bad either.
In the subsequent years we have hiked and/or walked in different parts of France, Spain, and Italy.
We hope in this blog to share some of our stories and experiences and encourage others to follow in our footsteps and explore the world that awaits them on foot. All you really need is a comfortable pair of shoes... and a wineglass.
